Job descriptionDevelop and execute social media strategies through research, benchmarking, and audience insights to strengthen brand and product visibility. Create, publish, and manage engaging content that drives awareness, consideration, and conversion across social media channels. Optimize and maintain company pages, ensuring consistent branding and maximum visibility across platforms. Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience interactions in line with community and brand guidelines. Plan and manage editorial calendars, posting schedules, and campaign timelines. Track and analyze social media performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts, amplify campaign reach, and support business objectives. Stay current with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance performance and engagement. Assist in planning and running company and marketing events, ensuring social media and on-ground activities work together to engage audiences both online and offline. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned. Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Mass Comm or any related field. 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, and events planning & management. Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices. Good writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus. Good in visual creation and video editing skills. Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A team player with strong collaboration skills and a passion for connecting online engagement with real-world brand experiences. Willingness to travel or work beyond regular hours when supporting events or campaigns. Familiar with social media analytics tools. Proficiency in using canva and CapCut to create visually appealing social media graphics and videos that align with brand guidelines. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage, both writing & speaking. Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, social media management, or productivity is an added advantage. Creative and resourceful, passionate about social media trends and events, with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership to see ideas through to completion.
