Senior Executive, Strategic Communications
Day-Day Functions of Corporate Communications Department
Monitor, track, and provide recommendations on emerging media issues that may affect the Company's reputation and public standing
Communicate key company messages, ensuring accuracy and consistency in information released to the media and public
Draft, edit, and distribute press release, feature articles, media advisories, and other corporate communications materials
Ensure high standards of written communications in English, proficiency in Malay and Mandarin is an added advantage
Media & Public Relations
Build, liaise and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and stakeholders
Plan and execute effective media communications and public relations initiatives to support the Company's strategies
Coordinate press interviews, prepare spokespersons with talking points, and pitch stories / interviews to secure publicity
Plan, coordinate, and execute media events including press conferences, launches and briefings; ability to emcee will be an added advantage
Award Submissions
Collaborate with internal departments to gather project / campaign information for award submissions
Evaluate, prepare and submit entries for reputable industry awards that enhance the Company's brand reputation and recognition
Publication and third-party management
Coordinate the production of corporate publications such as the Integrated Annual Report, corporate profile, and other collaterals
Assist in the creation and production of marketing and branding materials (e.g. calendars, greeting cards, advertisements, videos)
Liaise with and manage external agencies, suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality project implementation
Events
Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, media launches, and stakeholder engagements to strengthen the Company's brand presence
Provide communications support during events, including speech drafts, media kits, and event publicity
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mass Communications / Marketing Communication or equivalent
At least 1-2 years experience in Corporate Communications / PR Industry (Property Industry Experience will be an added advantage)
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exhibiting a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Highly organized, with proven ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple tasks, projects, and deadline in a fast-paced environment
Results-driven, innovative, creative, resourceful, and committed to achieving objectives within set timelines and budgets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong computer literacy
