Job Description : The Finance Officer is responsible for managing upstream and downstream settlement and reconciliation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems, clearing funds, and reconciliation files. This includes daily interactions with banks, payment platforms, and merchants to support timely and accurate financial operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle reconciliation with upstream channels or banks, manage fund settlement requests, discrepancy resolutions, and ensure alignment between system data, clearing funds, and reconciliation documents.
- Conduct settlement reconciliations with merchants, manage merchant fund disbursements, validate account balances, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate settlements.
- Assist front‑end operations in communicating with merchants and interpreting settlement reports and financial logic.
- Oversee bank and third‑party payment platform–related financial operations, including fund transfers and internal allocation.
- Coordinate with other departments to handle transaction inquiries, audit preparation, and income & expenditure forecasting.
- Maintain accounting records, such as daily bank journal entries, and ensure accurate recording of income and expenses. Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Follow up on anomalies identified in business workflows, propose feasible solutions, and continuously optimize and enhance settlement processes.
