The Role
As a Compliance & Administrative Executive , you will play a key role in ensuring our firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the smooth operation of our office. This position is ideal for a proactive and organized individual who is eager to grow within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
Compliance Responsibilities
- Monitor business activities to ensure adherence to the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA) and Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) guidelines.
- Manage the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including client onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing transaction monitoring.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the SC.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal staff on routine compliance matters.
- Maintaining / updating internal compliance policies in alignment with Group Compliance Policies and regulatory changes.
- Liaising with the SC.
- Delivering staff compliance training.
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations, including handling incoming / outgoing mail and deliveries.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the office is well-stocked and operational.Maintain accurate and organized records for both compliance and general office administration.Handling correspondence and assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks to support the team.Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration , or a related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay .Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of integrity.Knowledge of Malaysian capital markets is an advantage.Proactive, organized, and reliable work ethic.What We Offer
