Overview

This full-time Operations Manager position at LANGKAWI SKYWALK SDN BHD' offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry, based in Langkawi, Kedah . As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources to support the organisation's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity

Managing and coordinating the activities of various operational departments, including logistics, production, and customer service

Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement innovative solutions

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

Overseeing the recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to build a high-performing and motivated workforce

Reporting on operational performance to senior management and providing recommendations for strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

Significant experience (8+ years) in a management role within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

Demonstrable expertise in operational planning, process improvement, and resource optimization

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices

Degree in Management , Operations , or a related field
