Senior Finance & Accounts Executive

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounts Executive to oversee the full set of accounts, manage month‑end closing, and support budgeting and forecasting for a large manufacturing organisation based in Kuala Lumpur. The role will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders.

Job Description

• Manage full set of accounts, posting journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for submission to headquarters, ensuring compliance with group reporting deadlines.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, including reconciliation and confirmation with related companies.
• Produce financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes accurately and on time, including e‑invoicing.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders when necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation and supporting records for all financial transactions are maintained.
• Contribute to process enhancements and participate in ad‑hoc analyses or financial projects as needed.
