Head of Travel Marketing

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an exciting and pivotal role as the Head of Travel Marketing at Highlight Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd. As a full‑time position based in Klang, Selangor, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of impactful online and offline marketing strategies to drive growth and increase brand awareness for the company's diverse range of travel offerings.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive online and offline marketing plans to promote the company's travel packages, tours, and related services including online campaigns, digital content, and participation in trade shows and fairs.
• Oversee digital marketing agencies in the creation of engaging digital content, including website updates, social media posts, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts and support lead generation and conversion activities.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Manage and optimise the company's online presence, including website performance, search engine optimisation, and paid advertising campaigns.
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data‑driven insights to continually refine and improve strategies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the travel and tourism industry.
• Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to the management team on effective marketing strategies.
