Overview
To support the Property Investment division by conducting comprehensive market research, financial analysis and due diligence to identify and evaluate land acquisition and investment opportunities in Malaysia. The role also involves preparing investment proposals, maintaining financial models and providing analytical support for the company’s existing investment portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis : Conduct detailed market research to identify potential land acquisition and investment opportunities across Malaysia.
- Financial Modelling : Develop and maintain robust financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), feasibility studies, and valuation analyses for potential projects.
- Due Diligence : Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, working closely with internal teams (legal, finance, development) and external consultants (property agents, valuers, sales and marketing agents, project consultants).
- Proposal & Documentation : Prepare and present investment proposals, feasibility reports, projected cashflows, and other required documentation for review and approval by senior management.
- Portfolio Support : Monitor and analyze the performance of the existing investment portfolio, track market conditions, and identify opportunities for asset enhancement.
- Additional Responsibilities :
Networking : Build and maintain relationships with landowners, property agents, and other key industry stakeholders.
Reporting : Prepare periodic reports on market trends, investment pipeline, and project performance for management.Administrative Support : Provide assistance in business development, valuation, corporate finance activities, and other tasks as reasonably required by management.Continuous Learning : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the property investment market, including regulatory updates, industry developments, and emerging technologies.Work Arrangement

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experienceProficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Familiarity with local real estate laws, regulations, and industry norms.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
