Role Purpose :
This role will be based in Malaysia and is part of the Compliance team of the Pine Labs Group – comprising the Payment, Issuance, Fave and other business lines.
The role focuses on the Malaysia regulatory requirements of Fave Asia Technologies Sdn Bhd ("FATSB"), and related requirements of other Pine Labs entities in Malaysia. The role supports the compliance activities internationally including the regulated businesses in Singapore. The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer for the International businesses ("CCO").
Responsibilities We Entrust you with :
Compliance Advice
- Drive and provide advice and guidance, together with the CCO, on proper application and interpretation of regulatory requirements internationally including but not limited to regulations from the Bank Negara of Malaysia ("BNM") and requirements of PayNet :
Advising on new regulatory requirements and regulatory changes
Responding to regulatory consultations by coordinating responses with stakeholders
Proactively identifying areas of regulatory concerns and ownerships
Drive and provide advice and guidance, together with the CCO, on business initiatives taking into consideration regulations, risks and controls.Work closely with stakeholders to produce compliance related training materials and provide the training that is scalable with Pine Labs entities internationally, including Malaysia as the priority.Work with the CCO and other entity stakeholders to promote an effective compliance culture for the Pine Labs entities internationally, including Malaysia as the priority.Regulatory Relationship and Submissions
Serve as the key regulatory contact for BNM, PayNet and other regulators as and when appropriate. Support the CCO to strategically position Pine Labs as a trusted entity, and key stakeholder in regulatory consultations.Support the CCO in regulatory liaisons internationally.Drive and ensure regulatory submissions internationally, including Malaysia as the priority, demonstrate compliance, and are timely submittedDrive and ensure regulatory correspondences and submissions are documented for good governanceCompliance Monitoring
Work with the CCO to develop compliance monitoring plans for regulated Pine Labs entities, with focus given to FATSB.Influence and execute compliance monitoring as part of the international compliance team, accordingly, to monitoring plans and monitoring procedures established.Identify and agree compliance actions with stakeholders, and track closure of the actions.What Matters in the Role :
Degree / Postgraduate / Professional qualification in Finance, Law, Risk Management, Business, Economics or Information Technology or other relevant qualifications.More than 5 years of compliance experience preferably in payment services related areasGood knowledge of risk management practicesWhat we value in our people :
