We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of human resources functions for our noodle manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a people‑oriented leader with strong communication skills and solid understanding of Malaysian employment regulations. This role will oversee all HR activities — including recruitment, payroll, industrial relations, employee welfare, and compliance — while ensuring smooth daily operations and driving continuous improvement in HR policies, systems, and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 3–4 HR personnel to deliver high‑quality HR support across all departments.
Act as a key business partner to management, providing advice on people‑related matters and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Build and maintain a positive workplace culture and employee relations environment.
HR Operations & Administration
Oversee the end‑to‑end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, payroll, and training.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, statutory contributions, and compliance with local labor regulations.
Manage HR documentation, records, and reporting in line with company policies and audit requirements.
Policy, SOP & Compliance
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks that align with current laws and operational needs.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act , Industrial Relations Act , SOCSO , EPF , EIS , and other relevant labor legislation.
Oversee the management and renewal of foreign worker permits , quota applications, and related government documentation.
Employee Relations & Discipline
Advisе management and staff on disciplinary issues, grievance handling, and performance improvement plans.
Conduct domestic inquiries, issue show cause letters, and manage termination processes when necessary.
Promote employee engagement and retention through effective communication and welfare programs.
Talent Management & Recruitment
Plan and execute recruitment strategies for both local and foreign workforce.
Work closely with department heads to identify manpower needs and ensure timely placement.
Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and productivity.
Strategic HR Development
Identify HR process improvements and digitalization opportunities (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
Support management in workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational restructuring when required.
Actively contribute to building an efficient, compliant, and performance‑driven work environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration , or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience , with at least 2 years in a managerial role , preferably in a manufacturing environment .
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and foreign worker management .
Proficient in HR and payroll systems (e.g. AutoCount, Infotech, or similar).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and make sound HR decisions under pressure.
High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive HR matters.
Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia .
