Job descriptionBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Exercise Science, Sports and Science, Human Movement Science / Kinesiology. Prior experience working with geriatric or rehabilitation patients preferred. Strong knowledge of age-related physical health conditions and exercise modifications. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Patience, empathy, and passion for working with elderly individuals.
Job Description
- Work together with doctors, and other professionals to keep them updated on patient’s progress
- Provide guidance, advice, and support for patients and families member
- Assess the physical abilities, limitations, and health conditions of geriatric patients.
- Develop safe, individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and balance.
