About The Department : UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. We are expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth. Job Responsibilities
- As a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) for Core Banking, you will collaborate with stakeholders from project inception, analysis, design, development, testing to pre- and post-deployment phases.
- Ensure good quality and smooth delivery of core banking enhancements compliant with mandated framework and guidelines.
- Focus on Core Banking – Customer (BWCIF), Deposits, Channels, Customer Self-Service and Reporting.
- Manage end-to-end technical delivery, requirements management, design / development engagement, testing requirements, deployment planning and post-implementation support.
- Project delivery management and planning of technical deliverables (including system enhancements and upgrades) within budget.
- Coordinate across application teams to manage technical dependencies.
- Monitor and manage risks / issues related to technical delivery.
- Provide status updates related to technical delivery; report to Program and / or Project Manager for strategic programs.
- Partner with Functional Business Analysts, System Analysts and subject matter experts to understand and implement functional and technical requirements.
- Provide input to specifications (e.g., effort estimates, high-level delivery plan) based on impact assessment.
- Ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards by partnering with Domain Architects, Development Managers and Security Architects.
- Collaborate with Development Manager to lead application teams in building enhancements.
- Coordinate with Test Manager to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.
- Work with IT Security to facilitate penetration testing and remediation in line with the Mitigation Plan.
- Prepare technical implementation plan across application teams and coordinate activities for production cutover and post-implementation support.
Job Requirements
At least 9 years’ experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology.Knowledge of IBM AS400 platform, RPG, CL & COBOL programming, ALDON.Strong understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Knowledge of Agile development methodology.Silverlake banking software suite is a plus.Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines; additional professional qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.Additional Requirements
