Associate SAP Solution Architect (FICO)
The Associate SAP Solution Architect (FICO) will be responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into an architectural solution blueprint that will help achieve Entegris business objectives. This position is jointly responsible for the solution architecture, design, and delivery of SAP solutions with related middleware and underlying platforms. This role requires close working relationships with Business COE teams, internal customers, the various SAP applications teams, the extended Enterprise Architecture team, and the PMO office and will focus heavily on the global finance processes within a multinational manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Provide input to strategy and Business Capability roadmaps within the SAP landscape to drive Business Process transformation and innovation forward
- Assist the SAP Lead Architect in delivering SAP end-to-end solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through implementation of the solution
- Act as a Functional Business Analyst collaborating with key business stakeholders on reviewing current process gaps and new requirements
- Become the subject‑matter expert for all finance process areas and support production issues
- Propose solutions to enhance current processes, advising on system options, risks, cost‑benefit and impacts; collaborate with peers in internal IT and the business to facilitate adoption
- Work on projects and enhancements to enable business objectives
- Review business and technical requirements, focus on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, support development and testing activities, evangelize best practices and proven patterns, and raise architecture issues and concerns regarding system and architecture integrity / sustainability
- Prepare presentations, documents, diagrams, models (for process and data), and other artifacts required to communicate analysis, recommendations, or designs
- Champion solution adoption
- Provide implementation options using knowledge of SAP capabilities, including gap remediation and workarounds, to identify solution recommendations
- Understand implications from any required updates from other initiatives or technology transformations
- Support external vendors (software and people) assessment – ensuring they follow our standards
- Work on complex enhancement requests within the Change Management Process
- Provide technical insights in the context of work prioritization, establish priorities with key business stakeholders (CoE)
- Support SPR process to ensure the scope of project and benefits aligns with the business case / system requirements
Qualifications
Preferably 7 years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in SAP / ERP FICO functional business analyst or consulting role specifically within manufacturing industriesExperience with SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA), costing, and Project System configurationExperience in SAP implementations; specifically functional solution design and delivery across the SAP development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are designed to meet end‑user needsExperience working in SAP applications with deep knowledge of cross‑functional aspects of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Costing, Tax systems, Transfer Pricing, Banking Interfaces, and TreasuryExperience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) configuration and processesExperience in SAP BW and SAP BPC functionality and process, knowledge of financial consolidations and FP&A functions of a global companyOutstanding Candidates Will Have
