Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and linguistically skilled Translator to provide high-level Japanese language support to a Japanese superior. This role requires not only fluency in Japanese, English and Mandarin, but also a deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette, communication styles, and cultural nuances. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the superior and local teams, ensuring smooth and respectful communication across all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate spoken and written communication between Japanese, English & Mandarin, including meetings, emails, reports, and presentations.
• Provide real-time interpretation during internal and external meetings, site visits, and business negotiations.
• Travelling with Japanese superior on domestic business trips to various regions to support market research, customer engagement, and sales activities when necessary.
• Ensure culturally appropriate and accurate translations that reflect tone, intent, and context.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and coordination as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
