JAPANESE TRANSLATOR

Support Japanese expatriates in daily communications with local teams.

Interpret spoken communication between Japanese, English, and Malay during meetings, seminars, and calls.

Provide either accurate or summarized translation, depending on the context.

Translate documents, reports, and emails as needed.

Assist in simultaneous interpretation during live discussions or presentations.

Prepare by researching topics ahead of scheduled sessions.

Support with preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in all translations.

Any other tasks assigned by management related to translation and communication.

Requirements :

Proficient in Japanese, English, and Malay (spoken and written).

Good command of English and / or Malay.

Prior experience in interpretation or translation is an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
