Penerangan pekerjaanDevelop and update course materials and curricula in line with academic standards and advancements in the field. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other assessment methods. Provide academic support and guidance to postgraduate students, including supervision of dissertations and theses. Research and Scholarship Publish research findings in reputable academic journals and present them at conferences. Seek research funding and participate in collaborative research projects. Stay abreast of current developments in the field and integrate them into teaching and research activities. Academic Administration Contribute to the quality assurance and enhancement processes within the Centre. Serve on academic committees and contribute to the governance of the Centre and the wider university. Community and Professional Engagement Participate in outreach activities to promote postgraduate studies and the Centre’s programs. Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise in the field. A Ph.D. in relevant field. Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching and supervision. A strong track record of research and scholarly publications. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. Experience in curriculum development and academic program administration. Proven ability to secure research funding. Membership in relevant professional organizations.
Overview
The Centre for Postgraduate Studies at Asia Metropolitan University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer to join our dynamic academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality postgraduate teaching, engaging in scholarly research, and contributing to the academic development and administration of postgraduate programs.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and Learning
Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials at the postgraduate level.
Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the body of knowledge in the relevant field.
Participate in the development and administration of postgraduate programs.
Foster relationships with industry, professional bodies, and other academic institutions.
