MANAGER, OPERATIONS (CONCRETE / PRECAST)

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production

  • Plan, lead and manage day-to-day operations of the concrete / precast plant.
  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor supply chain, inventory and logistics for raw materials and finished products.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Oversee quality control to ensure compliance with CIDB, ISO and safety standards.
  • Drive cost control, waste reduction and efficiency improvements (lean manufacturing).
  • Manage plant / equipment maintenance to minimise downtime.

    • Project Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with project site teams, consultants and clients.
  • Analyse production metrics, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
  • Lead, train and motivate the operations and production team to achieve performance targets.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in concrete, precast concrete or manufacturing operations.
  • Familiar with production planning, quality control and supply chain management.
  • Strong grasp of precast production processes (casting, curing, handling, logistics).
  • Knowledge of plant maintenance, machinery operations and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and efficiency measures.
  • Strong project management, timeline management and cost control skills.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
