General Ledger Team Lead

The General Ledger Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the GL team and driving process standardization to eliminate duplication. His / her key responsibilities include verifying inventory sub-ledgers for accuracy in classification and valuation, while challenging stock count adjustments and advising on reserves. In collaboration with local Controllers, he / she ensures timely month-end close and compliance with cut-off procedures for purchases and revenue recognition. He / she prepares month-end journals aligned with company policies and accounting standards, and ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and variances reported. Additionally, the Team Lead supports internal and external financial reporting, assists in clearing aged balance sheet items, and facilitates audit readiness. To enhance operational efficiency, he / she contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and leverages technology for cost‑neutral process enhancements.
