Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D scanning programs using software such as PolyWorks, Geomagic, GOM Inspect, or similar.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers to define scanning strategies and inspection routines.
Automate scan-to-CAD comparison workflows and reporting templates.
Validate and troubleshoot scan data for accuracy and completeness.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions using scan data.
Maintain documentation for scanning procedures and software configurations.
Train operators and technicians on scanning software and workflows.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

2+ years of experience in 3D scanning programming or metrology software.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) and scan data processing tools.

Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional analysis.

Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
