Penerangan pekerjaanMechanical : Customer satisfaction – Based on feedback from customer Adherence to schedule / timelines Adherence to SLAs where applicable Number of defects post delivery Number of non-compliance issues Percentage of reduction reoccurrence of known defects Defined productivity standards for project Completion of all mandatory training requirements Understand the design requirements : sheet metal design guidelines stack-up analysis Weldment mining design guidelines casting knowledge and large assembly management. Identify analyse and rectify drawing errors technical errors PLM & PDM errors and model errors Create documentation for one's own work Input output folder maintenance Status update in Project tracker Comply with project related reporting standards / process Design review presentation Maintain documents for audit purposes Create / model procedures documents Checklist Model QC work-flow etc. Adhere to PLM & PDM process Understand the Inputs client expectations and work scope Improve domain competency Improve soft skill competency by attending trainings and webinars Ability to perform interference check against top level assembly Ability to create harness drawing. Ability to work in a team environment Good written and verbal communication abilities Proactively seek help wherever it is required Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills Ability to think analytically and conceptually Appropriate 3D Software Modules GD&T Value Analysis-Value Engineering to reduce product cost. Knowledge about customer domain and sub domain Domain knowledge of Off High-way mining equipment Electro-mechanical Automotive Casting Plastic Semiconductor Medical Aerospace Heavy machinery. Proficiency in Creo Cabling Piping Sheet metal Auto CAD Part modeling Casting Drawing MBA (Model Based Assembly or Paperless drawing). Work with the design team to provide automation solution of specific Cadence solutions Provide complex configuration and automation customizations for Cadence ‘Allegro Package Designer+’, ‘PCB Editor’, and other ECAD products Design and develop an automation script that help to automate the design validation process and improve the product design lead time Customize internal user menu and develop internal user script in Allegro Package Design tool Develop an VBA script in Microsoft Excel to automate design activities Contribute to design effectiveness and efficiency improvements Have the project management experience and able to drive the automation project independently with minimum supervision Strong problem-solving skill in troubleshooting and resolving design tool related issues Define the tool user guideline and provide tool training to the team Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering Minimum three (3) years of automation development and programming skill in Cadence Allegro Package Design tool and other electrical design tools Strong programming skills in C++ Cadence APD tool expertise such as (Allegro package designer, PCB editor and SiP) Expertise in writing useful commands and functions to customize and extend the functionality of the base PCB Editor tool set Experience in defining a methodology to perform automate validation for package design Experience in build user menus and forms with Allegro design Editor SKILL Experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within Microsoft Excel to customize a new function Programming and automation knowledge of other tools such as Valor tool, AutoCAD, and Mentor expedition would be plus Must be able to present and clearly articulate solutions to user Able to manage multiple activities, work with a team to develop solutions to meet design requirements Strong verbal and written communications skills Fundamental knowledge of package design or PCB design would be good
Role Description
Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to develop professional cost effective designs as a part of the team with support from Designer-III and Lead.
Outcomes
- Electrical :
a. Development of 2D wire harness drawings conforming with customer requirements and industrial drafting standards
b. Use design of hardware fixation components such as brackets clips and mounting points using 3D modelling module
c. Development of wire harness routing designs in 3D which includes ensuring secure routing of harness to corresponding connectors
d. Create and understand schematic drawings.
a. Hydraulic Design : Design of hydraulic systems; selection of hydraulic components and fittings and hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfire
b. Structural Design : Design of structural members castings and weld fabrications
c. Weld Design : Design of welding structural components
d. Vehicle Integration and Assembly : Contribute to Mechanical or Electrical integration as a part of Vehicle integration and assembly
e. FEA : Understand and apply Finite Element Analysis in Mechanical design
