Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting principles. Attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Open to non-Malaysians. Competitive salary ranging from MYR to MYR annually. Responsibilities
- Evaluate insurance applications and determine risk levels based on company guidelines.
- Analyse data to assess potential risks and recommend appropriate terms and conditions for coverage.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for underwriting decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the underwriting process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting processes and standards.
