Sales Marketing Executive - Chemical Industry

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in sales and / or marketing, preferably in chemical, coatings or rubber glove industry.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic technical knowledge of polymer coatings, resins, solvents and additives.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with new potential customers and markets.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotations and tender documents.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide after-sales support.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows and product launches.
  • Conduct market research and report on industry trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
  • Support the sales manager in achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Strong time management, follow-up and organizational abilities.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and result-oriented mindset.

    • Language Requirements

  • Proficient in English and Malay (written and spoken)
  • Other language skills are bonus depending on the market served.
  • Able to speak and write in Mandarin would be added advantage.

    • Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits and promotional events.
  • Valid driving license.
