Position Overview :
The Head of Supply Chain & Logistics will oversee all supply chain, procurement, and logistics activities within the company to ensure seamless support for aircraft operations and maintenance. This role is critical in optimizing inventory, improving vendor performance, and ensuring timely delivery of aviation parts and services in compliance with aviation regulations.
This position will serve at the Group Level, overseeing supply chain and logistics functions across Pen Group, which includes Pen Aviation Malaysia, Pen Aviation Europe, Pen Aviation Singapore, and DGMIND France.
Define and execute the overall procurement and logistics strategy in alignment with company objectives and program timelines.Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiation for UAV components, avionics, payloads, and ground‑support systems.Oversee import / export operations, customs compliance, and logistics coordination with international suppliers and freight forwarders.Establish and maintain robust procurement processes, documentation standards, and ERP data accuracy (Odoo or equivalent).Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, and cost trends; implement continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure procurement planning supports R&D and production schedules.Manage inventory control, warehouse efficiency, and material flow for assembly and testing operations.Build and mentor a high‑performing procurement and logistics team, fostering accountability and operational excellence.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and aviation authority requirements (CAAM, EASA, FAA, MCMC, SIRIM, etc.) corporate governance, export control, and quality management standards applicable to the aviation sector.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, MROs, and logistics providers.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and adopt digital tools for better tracking and reporting.Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs, supplier performance, and budget adherence.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably within the aviation, aerospace or high‑tech industry.Strong understanding of aviation procurement, customs regulations, and parts traceability requirements.Proven experience managing vendors, logistics partners, and supply contracts.Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities with the ability to work cross‑functionally.Proficient in ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Quantum, or similar).Knowledge of CAAM / EASA / FAA / MCMC / SIRIM compliance standards and quality assurance systems (ISO90001, AS9100) is an advantage.Bonus points if you have :Fluent in English and Mandarin; Proficiency in French is an asset.
