The hiring company is seeking a R&D candidate in seasoning formulation creation, particularly focusing on Southeast Asian and International flavour profiles. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in spray drying, reaction processes, enzymatic flavour creation, and related technologies (hands-on experience will be a plus).
1. Development and optimization of seasoning formulations to meet consumer preferences in Southeast Asian (SEA) and international markets.
2. Utilize ingredients unique to creation of SEA and International profile to create seasonings / flavours
3. Expected to work closely with flavourist to perform the seasoning / flavour creation
4. Utilize expertise in spray drying, reaction processes, and enzymatic flavour creation to achieve superior product quality and performance.
5. Conduct research, experimentation, and analysis to enhance flavour profiles and sensory attributes.
6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with market trends and regulatory standards.
7. Provide technical guidance and support during production and commercialization phases.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
9. Actively participate in strategic project teams, contributing insights, and innovative solutions to achieve business objectives.
10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and teamwork within the R&D department.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. 3-8 years of experience in seasoning formulation creation, flavour engineering , or related roles. Expertise in Southeast Asian and / or international flavour profiles.
3. Experience in spray drying, reaction processes, enzymatic flavour creation, and related technologies will be preferred.
4. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards in the food industry.
5. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
7. Proficiency in English and Mandarin . Willingness to travel to Guangzhou, China if necessary. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to strategic initiatives
