A prominent client in the Aerospace Industry is seeking an experienced Lead Purchaser to join their team in the Klang Valley Region. The company aims to become a market leader through innovation and growth. They are looking for a skilled Lead Purchaser to strengthen their team.
Job Description
- Supplier & Contract Management : Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance. Build strong relationships and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
- Procurement Strategy & Planning : Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Analyze needs and create sourcing plans considering risk assessments.
- Purchasing Operations & Cost Control : Manage purchase orders and contracts, monitor pricing trends, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
- Quality & Regulatory Compliance : Collaborate with QA teams to ensure standards are met. Address quality issues promptly and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight : Work with engineering, production, quality, finance, and logistics teams. Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies.
