In-house Legal Counsel (APAC region)

Overview

DHI is a global and independent company dedicated to challenges in water, environment and sustainability. We provide advisory, digital advisory, research and water governance services, as well as MIKE technologies and products. We are looking for up to 3 new team members for DHI Legal & Compliance. Join our global team at DHI as an in-house Legal Counsel for the APAC Region, based at our Excellence Centre in Kuala Lumpur. You will join a dedicated team of lawyers in Kuala Lumpur and Denmark on a wide variety of legal aspects close to the business.

DHI offers an opportunity to balance legal and commercial interests while playing a key role in the organization. You will work in an exciting and challenging position in an international company with over 1200 colleagues in over 30 countries solving challenges in water environments. In this role, you will engage in end-to-end projects and support long-term solutions for a better, greener and safer world.

Responsibilities and challenges

• Providing advice on all legal aspects relevant to the organization, including Corporate and Commercial matters, Intellectual Property Rights, Data Protection, M&A, Procurement, Risk Management, Compliance and Transparency issues.
• Focus on legal and commercial aspects of selling software and consultancy / advisory services.
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contract terms with partners and customers.
