What you’ll be doing

Every day in this role brings new challenges and opportunities. You can expect a mix of the following accountabilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test plans to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UI / UX teams to define testing strategies early in the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
• Maintain and improve automated test suites for reliability, coverage, and speed.
• Track, log, and manage defects through to resolution, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to release readiness by validating features and providing clear feedback on quality risks.
• Verify UI / UX for mobile applications and large screen.
• Perform exploratory testing of new software builds.
• Root cause analysis for the issues found during QA process.
• Confirm proper logging and fault detection during device operation.
• Ensure recent software changes haven’t broken existing features.
• Test the new software is compatible with existing firmware.
• Optionally ensure correct hardware / firmware data is captured and interpreted (e.g. temperature sensors, meter readings, etc)
