Responsibilities

Grow the QA team and oversee their day-to-day management.

Work independently and with stakeholders to deliver high performance standards across projects and develop a best practice model for maintaining high performance.

Localize working processes and strategies, manage labeling projects with the Quality Analysts, and provide labeling results in line with expectations.

Provide efficient and timely data through performance management practices, and deliver reports to business teams when required.

Be solution driven with regional and global strategy in mind, and proactively deliver these solutions.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills, lead diverse teams, and foster a collaborative environment.

Conduct interviews and other hiring duties to grow the team with qualified individuals.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and above or equivalent experience in a short video product user industry.

At least 1 year of leadership experience in trust and safety or policy in a major tech or media company.

Familiar with the business logic of labeling and the upstream / downstream teams’ working modes.

Fast learner capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Comfortable reporting to or collaborating with all levels of management and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Broad understanding of business needs and strategic thinking.

Demonstrated ability to make good decisions in complex situations using data.

Familiar with machine learning and content understanding.

Passion for helping others grow and willingness to step beyond your comfort zone.

Understanding of tools such as the Working Hours tool and Data Power is an advantage.
