PALM ERA, a US-based marketing agency, seeks a bilingual Sales Account Manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit based in KL. The candidate will prospect new business opportunities, maintain existing client relationships, demonstrate product knowledge, negotiate sales terms, and close deals.
Position Summary
The Sales Account Manager's responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and converting them into our clients and partners. You\'ll also strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients and gain repeat business wherever possible. You will develop sales strategies, manage client accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, negotiate contracts, and track sales performance to achieve targets.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Preparing and delivering client presentations, showcasing products or services and their benefits.
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Setting up meetings and delivering appropriate presentations on PALM ERA Marketing products and services.
- Working closely with the operations team to finalize agreement terms and close sales to achieve the Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Planning and supporting clients\' onboarding, collaborating closely with the Operations team.
- Ensuring clients receive requested products and services promptly.
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
- Responsible for account and relationship development and management at all levels of the customer organization.
- Manage and gain insights into clients’ performance and identify gaps or opportunities.
- Servicing multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines.
- Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling products and services.
- Accurately forecast deals for current and future business.
- Keeping records of client transactions.
- Weekly reports and ad-hoc reporting are required.
- This is a full-time hybrid position.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, and / or account management roles.Agency working experience is preferred.Fast learner with a passion for sales.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple clients and relationships simultaneously.Exemplary written and oral communication skills in English are required.
