Overview

The Data & Intelligence Analytics Intern will assist the Intelligence Analytics Manager in supporting the organisation’s data analytics and reporting initiatives. The role provides hands-on exposure to data preparation, dashboard development (Power BI), and corporate performance reporting. The internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in business intelligence while contributing to real-world projects in areas such as Corporate KPI monitoring, Procurement, Finance, and Contract Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cleaning datasets for use in analytics and dashboard development
• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards (e.g., updating parameters, Refreshing datasets, updating visuals, fixing minor issues)
• Compile and organise data received from various business units (Procurement, Finance, Contract Management, etc.) for analytical use
• Support the Intelligence Analytics Manager in performing basic data analysis and generating ad-hoc reports
• Help document dashboard requirements, data sources and process flows
• Conduct preliminary validation or testing of dashboards to ensure accuracy before deployment
• Participate in meetings with business users to capture requirements and take notes
• Research new features or best practices (Power BI, analytics, automation tools, etc.) and present relevant findings to the team
