Safety Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team at COSMOS PERSONAL CARE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' in Tanjung Langsat Johor. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and operations within our Chemical industry and environment. This is a full-time position that offers a range of exciting responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within our operations
• Familiar with ISO14001 & ISO45001 requirement and implementation
• Familiar with Process Safety Management requirement such as PSSR, MOC & Contractor Management
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
• Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety-related concerns
• Stay up-to-date with the latest safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices in the Analysis & Reporting field
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to safety activities and performance metrics
