If so, you might be the perfect fit for the Project Manager role in GI & Urology Solutions within Global R&D. Ambu is experiencing significant growth and has an ambitious plan for future innovation. By joining us now, you will play a key role in shaping and developing our future product portfolio and mature the future Manufacturing concepts. Your base will be in our newly established Innovation Centre in Penang, Malaysia.

At our Innovation centres in Ballerup, Denmark, Augsburg, Germany and Penang, Malaysia, we develop our new medical devices. We have a great culture and a clear focus on bringing products to the market that are based on a thorough understanding of the customer's needs. We focus on developing new products and production processes that combine several technologies in new and innovative ways. This sets high demands on your project management skills, business and technical understanding, and broad medical device development experience.

About The Department

The global team consists of strong project manager profiles, UX researchers and solution architects, and is based across our Innovation sites in Ballerup, Denmark; Augsburg, Germany; and Penang, Malaysia. We drive the active product development portfolio within the Business Areas GI & Urology, and we are involved from early screening to successful launch, with product responsibility and a secondary discipline in Product Lifecycle Management. We take pride in being a global team with different cultures, close, trusting relations, and one common goal : improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development projects from early scoping through development, production setup, and product registrations, following the product-to-market introduction process
• Develop and mature new production technologies, establish the first production line and production for sample builds, and initial launch
• Collaborate closely with the Global Project Manager, Global Marketing and Clinical departments to ensure customer needs are integrated into the design
• Head a cross-functional international team through all development stages, following Ambu's innovation process
• Mature new technologies to deliver advanced and innovative solutions, ensuring high quality and compliance
