Strong grasp of DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and distributed system design. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Operators, Helm, Prometheus, Istio, and service mesh technologies. Proven track record in building and operating secure, reliable PaaS platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams. Overview
Lenovo is seeking a visionary Cloud Native Development Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation cloud-native platform. This role shapes enterprise-grade container platforms, DevOps ecosystems, and microservices frameworks that power Lenovo’s global digital transformation. You will work at the intersection of innovation and scale—collaborating with global teams, driving open-source adoption, and delivering robust, scalable PaaS solutions that empower developers and enterprises alike.
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve Lenovo’s cloud-native platform, including Kubernetes-based container orchestration, DevOps toolchains, and microservices infrastructure.
- Design platform capabilities that ensure high availability, scalability, and agility.
- Champion cloud-native best practices and open-source innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Malaysia, Singapore, and other global regions.
- Define reusable architectural patterns, shared libraries, and standardized CI / CD pipelines.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on cloud-native development and platform engineering.
