General Accounting :
- Assisting the Management Accountant to ensure integrity of the General Ledger (coding accuracy).
- Assisting the Management Accountant with preparation of monthly management reports.
- Assisting the Management Accountant with budget input and monitoring.
- Assist with allocation of overheads to departments.
- Production of all financial reports in accordance with published timetables.
Ensure that all processing is performed in a timely and accurate manner :
Checking all input for accuracy before processing.Input of data including invoices & credit notes is timely.Ensure back charging required is performed on a regular monthly basis.Ensure all credit notes are property authorised.Invoices for Development Contributions and Resource Contributions are issued on time.Requirements and Qualifications
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting.Proven track record in managing financial operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and reconciliation.Strong technical accounting knowledge, including expertise in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) or Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards (MPERS).Advanced proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling and data analysis) and familiarity with financial systems (AutoCount or similar ERP systems).Experience using financial software such as AutoCount or other integrated finance systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.
