About the Role :

• As the Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our procurement landscape. Your responsibilities will include :
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic procurement strategies for all direct and indirect material, and services essential to packaging manufacturing. These strategies will align with company growth, sustainability initiatives, and cost-efficiency goals.
• Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including meticulous vendor identification, rigorous qualification, negotiation of favorable terms, and robust contract management for raw materials, finished packaging components, and related services.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality raw materials, packaging components, and essential equipment to support uninterrupted production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and control procurement budgets, identify significant cost-saving opportunities, and implement innovative strategies to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) without compromising product quality or supply reliability.
• Establish and maintain robust supplier performance management frameworks, conducting regular reviews and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and mutual growth.
• Ensure strict compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including adherence to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and quality standards relevant to the packaging industry.
• Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D), Production, Sales, and Finance teams for accurate material forecasting, proactive demand planning, and seamless integration into new product development initiatives.
• Oversee comprehensive procurement documentation, conduct in-depth data analysis, and prepare insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making and ensure transparency across all procurement activities.
• Proactively identify and resolve supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or delivery challenges with suppliers, implementing corrective actions swiftly to minimize any adverse impact on production.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, guiding them through complex tender processes, thorough quotation analysis, and effective negotiation strategies to enhance their capabilities and performance.

About the Team : The Strategic Procurement Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
