Overview
We are currently looking for a Revenue Manager to join Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil. This position is open to candidates with work authorization in Malaysia.
Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil marks the first Hyatt Place hotel in Malaysia. The hotel features 250 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, large ballroom, 4 meeting rooms and flexible event space, rooftop restaurant, fitness centre, and a sky pool.

Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute regular reports on revenue performance and KPIs to relevant stakeholders, including senior management and ownership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, brand standards, and legal regulations related to revenue management and pricing.
- Define and manage rate rules, restrictions, and booking policies in the property management system.
- Oversee the organization and storage of relevant data, including historical revenue data and market trends.
- Maintain an efficient and accurate filing system, both manually and electronically.
- Maintain pricing strategy records, contracts, negotiations, and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with the front desk to provide guidance on pricing policies, availability, and customer inquiries.
- Implement clear and transparent pricing policies to reduce guest confusion and enhance trust.
- Utilize customer feedback and reviews to improve pricing and service strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to support loyalty programs and retain engagement of repeat customers.
- Develop packages, promotions, and discounts to stimulate demand during off-peak periods or for specific market segments.
- Ensure privacy and confidentiality of guest information and avoid transmitting guest names or history.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align pricing and promotions with campaigns.
- Provide pricing and inventory data to support marketing materials and online presence.
- Utilize competitive analysis to inform pricing positioning and marketing strategy.
- Leverage customer data and booking patterns to inform marketing timing and campaigns.
- Support event marketing with rate and pricing strategies for conferences and meetings.
- Lead efforts to protect revenue by mitigating risks related to overbooking, underbooking, and fraud.
- Follow up on sales leads and develop operational procedures for the reservations department to optimize resources.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly room sales targets.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors providing operational support for reservation systems.
- Ensure services are delivered per the standard operating procedures with efficiency, consistency, and courtesy.
- Monitor operational reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features, and services.
- Support the implementation of Hyatt values and culture, promoting teamwork and effective communication among reservation, revenue management, and front office personnel.
- Assist in planning and implementing effective training programs for related employees.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the department.
- Oversee conflict resolution and handle personnel matters with professionalism.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel revenue management or related analytical roles.Proficiency in Revenue Management Systems, PMS, and Channel Managers.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.High attention to detail with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.Knowledge of OTA extranets, GDS systems, and digital distribution best practices.Seniority level
