  • Conduct engineering site survey to plan equipment and interconnection locations at the site and connection to the existing electrical system.
  • Develop, supervise, and / or review designs of residential, C&I and Utility scale solar systems, including but not limited to the electrical, structural and mechanical aspects of the projects.
  • Work with design team to confirm engineering design to decide DC equipment and AC interconnection locations at the site and connections to the existing electrical system.
  • Preparing the engineering budget, project schedules and project control budgets for projects.
  • Prepare project estimates, budget, schedules and execution plans.

  • Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring workmanship qualities of subcontractors during installation.
  • Work with internal and / or external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, local authorities on licensing matters and documentation.
  • Liaise and coordinate with TNB HQ & local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection of solar PV system.
  • Review deliverables at project milestones to ensure the project is within timeline and budget.
  • Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the projects.
  • Implement best practices and safe work procedure throughout the project on site.
  • Perform other project engineering and project management related duties.

    • Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical maintenance, construction projects, or related fields
    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering majoring in Electrical
    • Basic electrical knowledge is essential
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint for reporting; experience in Power Automate is a plus
    • Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required
    • Able to work under pressure and meet project deadline when required
    • Self-driven team player with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering results
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
