Senior HR Generalist

Penerangan pekerjaanPartner with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition and external agencies to ensure the hiring needs of the Malaysia team are fulfilled in an effective and timely manner Support interviews as needed Administer headcount approval requests, budget for roles, offers to candidates, visas for transfer, etc Manage the onboarding and orientation process for new starters Keep abreast of employment laws and regulations in MY Provide advice and support to managers and employees as appropriate Maintain HR documentation, employee records, policies and procedures to meet compliance standards Coordinate internal and external HR-related audits, ensuring a green scorecard, actioning improvements promptly and proactively reducing the risk of any non-conformances Support Payroll in accurate and timely submission of government reports, such as WGEA Provide HR-related information for tenders and customer queries Administer credit card application approvals Support and execute succession planning to build a strong pipeline of talent and leaders Support the development of employees based on the priorities that the business sets out to achieve as well as to support career aspiration of talent Assist to build strong leadership that is focused on high performance, teamwork, and development and retention of talent Support managers to identify training and competency needs of employees, source and organize training activities for learning and development plans Support the management of headcount and labor cost to ensure fixed cost remains constant Administer monthly forecasting and annual headcount budgeting, providing key insights Support requests for employee moves, salary adjustments, etc. as appropriate, using judgement to constructively challenge and feedback in situations where an alternative approach is better suited Administer the Malaysia benefits program Support the merit review process Identify cost saving opportunities without impacting the performance of the organization Support the management of leave balances To ensure accuracy of the data maintenance Ability to analyze and response to data / census request Support performance processes including objective setting, mid-year reviews, end of year reviews Address employee issues including grievances, performance management, investigations, etc. Undertake HR projects both locally and as part of the global / regional HR function From time to time, help develop programs relating to soft skills, team building and training Provide HR data analytics and reports as needed ISO audit preparation and participation Partner with the Health and Safety Manager and Payroll Coordinator for workers compensation, return to work and employee absence matters Identify opportunities for improvement in HR policies, procedures and processes Priorities and implement approved HR strategies to enhance productivity, high performance and the employee experience Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations Actively practice and promote safety in the workplace Degree in HR / IR or similar Strong in analytical skills and excel applications. Employment and labor law HR processes and enhancement Experience with global matrix organizations Experience within the technology industry preferred Min of 5 years’ experience in generalist HR Good interpersonal skills and has the ability to build trusting relationships Professional, fair and empathetic in dealing with people Organized Analytical and problem-solving capability Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Customer Focus Operational Excellence High-Performance Culture Own It Think Big and Execute Act With Urgency Own It Promote Transparent and Open Communication Learn and Seek Out Development Foster a Customer-First Mindset Lead by Example
