Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Puchong. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks include bookkeeping, budget preparation, tax returns, and financial reporting. The Accountant will also assist with financial planning and analysis, and provide support during financial audits.

Responsibilities

Manage financial records and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure tax compliance and prepare tax returns. Conduct or support audits and provide assistance during financial audits. Assist with financial planning and analysis and support budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial record management, and ledger maintenance
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Knowledge of tax compliance, returns preparation, and financial regulations
• Ability to conduct audits and provide support during financial audits
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
