Location : Novencia Clinic @ Kota Laksamana, Melaka
Role Summary :
The Clinic Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This includes administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing, as well as providing basic clinical support during patient consultations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Patient Reception and Registration
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collect and verify patient details such as personal information, medical history, and insurance data.
- Register new patients in the clinic's database system and update returning patients' information as necessary.
- Ensure proper triage of patients based on the urgency of their conditions.
- Direct patients to the appropriate waiting areas or examination rooms
Medical Record Keeping
Maintain both electronic and paper-based medical records.Ensure all entries are accurate and up to date.Assist in preparing medical charts for the doctor's review before patient consultation.Retrieve patient records as requested by healthcare professionals.Inventory and Supplies Management
Monitor stock levels of medical supplies, medications, and clinic materials such as gloves, syringes, bandages, etc.Coordinate with suppliers to restock materials in a timely manner.Track usage and wastage to ensure cost-effective operations.Education : Minimum of Diploma / certificate in medical assisting or healthcare-related fields is a plus.
Experience : Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Including experience in stock taking and handling medications.
