Sources and compiles information for tender participation, including measurement, quotation invitation, costing reports, and tender submissions.
Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering.
Prepares tender responses in consultation with HOD and attends tender interviews when necessary.
Negotiates with suppliers and appoints specialist subcontractors i.e. carpenters, fabricators, or installers as per trade requirements.
Ensures timely submission of variation order (VO) costs and communicates progress to the project manager, along with submitting monthly progress claims and closing final accounts.
Follows up on payment certificates and client payments efficiently.
Certifies subcontractors' claims based on site progress and quantity.
Examines letter of appointments, contract drawings, and documents to identify deviations from the tender.
Qualification :
Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey, or equivalent.
At least 2 year's experience
Able to join immediately will be add advantage
Able to work independently in office, and visit client's or site for meeting or when necessary
