Gaming QA Tester (Contract) at MON Co. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What You Can Expect to Work On :

  • Create, execute test cases and analyse results to help ensure the quality of the product
  • Develop and follow test plans efficiently
  • Create logs to document testing phases, defects, and track bugs
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Proactively demonstrate initiative, and help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
  • Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities

Requirements

  • Experience : Proven experience with a minimum of 1-3 years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the gaming industry or similar role. Experience testing with multiplayer games is a plus
  • Technical Skills : Familiar with project management and QA methodologies, as well as software like Jira, Notion, Asana, Shotgun, Excel, Project, Confluence, or equivalents. Must also have experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Communication : Ability to communicate with stakeholders and the team as a whole in an effective and concise manner
  • People Management : Able to work as part of a team, and proven record of cross functional collaboration
  • Problem-Solving : Analytical mind, Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
