Responsibilities

  • Have hands-on working experience in DXC / CSC platforms of applications within Life Insurance domain OR IntegralGroup domain is a must
  • Ability to write programs using COBOL / COBOL, SMART400, SQL is a must
  • Ability to understand user requirement and provide business solutions is a plus
  • Good understanding of all life insurance module (New business / claims / Policy admin) is a must
  • Liaison person with vendors to discuss business requirement and develop functional specifications
  • Ability to translate functional specifications to technical specifications is a must
  • Have good understanding of system integrations surrounding core applications is a must
  • Ability to engage technical vendors and business users to provide good quality deliverables is expected
  • Perform Level 2 troubleshooting of application issues and engage vendors for Level 3 support
  • Experience in supporting night batch support is a must
  • Experience in launching products is a plus
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum is a plus and encouraged

  • Candidate Qualifications

  • Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills :
  • Having strong troubleshooting skills / knowledge on the reported system issue

  • Ability to support new system support independently
  • Having good COBOL, AS400, SMART400, IBM iSeries and DB skills is a plus, SQL / MYSQL
  • Ability to take up additional support and maneuver within enterprise application is a plus
  • Experience in supporting core applications using DXC / CSC platforms
