Duties :
- Oversee overall management and operations of the Company's dormitory, ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant living environment for foreign workers.
- Attend to workers' welfare by fostering positive engagement, conducting regular communication sessions, and promoting high motivation and a sense of belonging.
- Handle administrative tasks including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of dormitory occupants, incident logs, facility usage, and housekeeping schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with Act 446 (Requirements for Workers' Accommodation) by liaising with relevant authorities and preparing necessary documentation.
- Prepare and submit reports on dormitory-related matters including :
- Inspection findings and follow-up actions
- Disciplinary cases and resolutions
- Facility maintenance and repair status
- Workers' feedback and complaints
- General safety, cleanliness, and compliance updates
- Conduct regular spot-checks using Dormitory Inspection Checklists and monitor cleanliness, kitchen hygiene, and facility conditions; escalate issues to the relevant departments.
- Investigate disciplinary issues involving dormitory residents; perform counselling and take appropriate enforcement action in accordance with company policies and penalty guidelines.
- Coordinate responses to resident issues such as medical needs, transport arrangements, safety concerns, and emergencies in collaboration with HR and Safety personnel.
- Plan and organize residential community-building activities (e.g., sports events, recreational trips, gotong-royong) to foster unity and good social behavior.
- Enforce dormitory rules and regulations consistently and report any violations or misconduct.
- Liaise with Maintenance Department for timely rectification of dormitory facility issues.
- Carry out any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirement :
Minimum Education : SPM or Diploma in any relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Administration, Security Management).Experience : Minimum 2 years working experience in dormitory management, security operations, or employee welfare roles.Language Proficiency : Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Melayu and English. Ability to speak a third language (e.g., Tamil, Nepali, or Bengali) is an added advantage.Skills & Knowledge :Strong interpersonal and communication skillsBasic understanding of Malaysian labour laws, especially Act 446Report writing and documentationConflict resolution and counselling skillsAble to use basic MS Office (Word, Excel)Personality :Responsible, firm, and disciplinedApproachable with high level of empathy and cultural sensitivityAble to work independently and handle emergency situationsOthers :Willing to work beyond office hours, during weekends or public holidays if neededMust be mobile (within factory and dormitory areas)If you are interested to apply, kindly submit your updated resume in DOC / PDF format and allow our Consultant to match you with our Clients.
