The main role of a subtitle editor is to proofreads / edits subtitle files based on client’s requirements and guidelines. Editors are required to provide files that are qualified for delivery and on time. Editors are also required to evaluate freelancers’ performance and provide feedback when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Editing and proofreading Bahasa Malaysia translations, subtitles, and scripts to ensure linguistic and technical accuracy.
- Providing constructive feedback to freelance translators to maintain and improve overall quality.
- Ensuring high-quality output that meets language, grammar, and stylistic standards.
- Working efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
