Job Summary
The “ Human Resources Generalist ” will be based in Prai reporting to HRBP Senior Manager.
In charge of implementing HR programs and providing support to business clients with respect to all people issues in order to support the growth and profitability of the business.
What a typical day looks like
- Contributes with managers on HR strategies and actions such as identifying current and future talent needs, recruiting methodologies to find diverse talent, and talent development.
- Advise site management regarding talent matters to drive outcomes that support business goals, i.e., employee engagement, workforce planning, data trends and potential actions, employee policies and program matters.
- Assess management capabilities and business development opportunities.
- Provide feedback and mentor managers.
- Guide Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion activities with heads and employees, creating a safe environment that supports diverse workforce.
- Participate as an agile member on site and corporate projects, teams, and process improvements.
- Support Flex Culture and Ways of Working and Business Expertise.
- Provide managers with guidance on change management regarding culture.
- Serve as a consultant to hiring managers on current trends in human resources management, labor laws, HR policies, etc., to reach appropriate outcomes.
- Manage the employee life cycle activities with managers and employees, including onboarding, new employee orientation, annual reviews, merit, separation processes and exits.
- Develop local recruitment programs and budgets.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts; coordinate participation in job fairs, schools, and organizations regarding the organization and opportunities.
- Counsel management on policy interpretation and legal awareness.
- Advise and investigate violations of policies and local labor laws.
- Help reach appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Craft programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention of critical skill employees, while minimizing company liability.
- Prepare and maintain records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Partner with Total Rewards in compensation and benefit programs.
- Administer local benefit programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations and reporting.
- Support HR Centers of Excellence on global initiatives at the local level.
- Communicate and educate employees and lead programs benefiting the site; participate in program design activities and postmortem reviews.
- Participate in or manage employee sustainability initiatives and events.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resources related function.Typically requires 3–5 years of Human Resources or related experience.Demonstrates advanced experience and skills in performing assigned HR functions.Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the function and Flex business.Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.Responds to customer complaints, employee issues and regulatory agency inquiries.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide
