Overview

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining high-quality standards across all products and processes. This role involves monitoring quality procedures, identifying and resolving quality issues, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and ISO 9001 : 2015 standards. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to review product quality, investigate non-conformities, conduct audits, and support continuous improvement efforts. This position plays a key role in maintaining product consistency, customer satisfaction, and ensuring that quality systems are effectively implemented and followed.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect procedures, processes, and outputs to identify errors, defects, or non-conformities.
  • Coordinate and supervise all Quality Control (QC) activities, ensuring continuous and effective operation.
  • Monitor and implement regular reporting systems and project updates for effective QC tracking and improvement.
  • Review and establish product quality specifications; collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure quality standards are met for both new and existing products.
  • Investigate complaints related to non-conforming products; prepare evaluation and investigation reports for top management review.
  • Lead the development and execution of quality programs and systems, ensuring alignment with evolving quality standards and translating them into organizational benefits.
  • Conduct and lead system audits, in-process audits, and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Provide technical support to meet customer quality requirements and specifications.
  • Perform product inspections for incoming goods, re-packaged items, replacement items, and other relevant categories.
  • Analyze major quality issues, report findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where necessary.
  • Conduct supplier audits and site visits to address recurring product defects and to assess and understand supplier QC processes.
  • Assist the Quality Management Representative (QMR) in liaising with external bodies regarding ISO 9001 : 2015 certification and compliance matters.
  • Represent the Quality Assurance unit during audits conducted by regulatory or external parties.
  • Plan and conduct in-house training sessions and awareness programs on quality standards and practices.
  • Attend meetings and discussions related to Quality Control and Assurance functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in QA operations, including audits, product quality reviews, handling deviations, CAPA, and complaints.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance with the ability to manage quality systems and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external parties.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
