Chief Financial Officer

Penerangan pekerjaanOversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital management, and tax. Lead the development and execution of the bank’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals. Ensure full compliance with Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations, IFRS / MFRS standards, and other financial authorities. Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, regulators, and auditors. Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and identify areas for financial efficiency and cost optimization. Play a leading role in strategic planning, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and investment strategies. Oversee asset‑liability management (ALM), liquidity risk, and capital adequacy. Collaborate with senior management in business growth planning and risk management. Lead and mentor the finance team, building a high‑performance, compliance‑driven culture.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent are required.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian banking regulations, financial risk management, and capital markets.
- Proven experience managing financial operations within a regulated environment.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience presenting to the Board and regulatory bodies.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving banking landscape.
