Finance Manager | Tech | Selangor

Company Overview

This is a great opportunity to join a leading Tech Group in their Finance team. With continued growth plans, they are looking to bring on board a hands-on and entrepreneurial Finance Manager to be based in Petaling Jaya. This role is important to support the teams in planning and keeping track of financial position to aid decision making.

The New Role

Working closely with the CEO, you will be involved in financial and management reporting for Group Consolidation, month-end closing, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and managing the year-end financial audit. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and will be a key business partner to support business operations, providing insightful analysis and forecasting for new business initiatives and their effects on the balance sheet and P&L. You will also liaise with bankers to manage the Group’s banking matters and undertake any other projects and ad-hoc work assigned from time to time.

Requirements to Succeed

• The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant certificate.
• 8-10 years’ relevant work experience in the tech industry, ideally with managerial experience and a blend of external audit.
• Experienced user of SAP system and familiar with all tax matters will be an added advantage.
• Strong all-round experience in financial accounting and group reporting.
• Experience in cross-functional partnering and business improvement initiatives.
