Responsibilities

• Monitor purchasing activities, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating pricing, evaluating quotations and purchasing goods and services at the best price.
• Analyze vendor quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial specifications for the project or user.
• Negotiate on pricing to ensure items and services are sourced and awarded competitively.
• Drive ERP implementation within the organization and liaise with other departments to proceed with purchasing activities according to company requirements.
• Advise internal and external parties on purchasing terms and conditions.
• Plan, issue and follow up on purchase orders delivery and delivery schedules to meet factory or requester requirements.
• Implement company purchasing procedures.
• Perform material inventory stock count activities and report.
• Monitor and perform stock buffering for materials to prevent production downtime.
• Coordinate import shipment, customs clearance process and handle domestic transportation.
• Perform any other tasks as and when required by management from time to time.
